Team members will benefit from one-on-one counseling with the leadership counselor from time to time. Team members will need to see respect, flexibility, and proper communication with the leadership counselor during one-on-one counseling.
Leadership counselors must be ethical in all their actions. Team members need a leadership counselor to set a good standard of personal conduct. Some team members may not want counseling even though they need it and it is up to the counselor to come up with ways to reach these team members. The time available for counseling may determine the approach that a leadership counselor may need to use. In a counseling session, a leadership counselor will watch as well as listen to a team member before they can respond. Guidance will be the last step in a counseling session with a team member.
